Dr N. Janardhan
Dr N. Janardhan is a political analyst based in the United Arab Emirates since 2000 and author of Boom Amid Gloom: Spirit of Possibility in the 21st Century Gulf (Ithaca, UK, 2011).
With a broad-based interest in the socio-political developments in the Middle East, his research areas include reforms, education, media, gender, labour, migration and international relations in the Gulf region.
He was formerly Programme Manager, Gulf-Asia Relations, and Editor, Gulf in the Media, at the Gulf Research Center, Dubai. With a PhD from Centre for Gulf Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Dr Janardhan has also worked with The Asian Age and The Gulf Today newspapers in India and the UAE respectively, and was the Gulf stringer for the Rome-headquartered Inter Press Service.
Apart from about 500 opinion articles published in various Middle East newspapers and websites, he regularly contributes to international academic publications.
Mahsoom Thottathil is an Electronics and Communication Engineer with an MBA major in Finance from XLRI Jamshedpur. He has over 13 years of experience in IT and Telecom and has worked with companies in India/USA and UAE. One of his main objectives is to explore the power of innovation by organizing information and people, trying to introduce Entrepreneurship into everyone.
As one of our ABM, he is involved in devising strategies to make ideas work.
Ramesh has decades of experience in mainstream Journalism. Currently working as Deputy Editor of Gulf Today, his previous tenure was with Times of India as Chief Sub-Editor/Correspondent. He has contributed to The Washington Times, Gulf Research Centre, Mid-Day, Free Press Journal, Business Today and Jetwings International.
Ramesh also served as Advisory Project Editor for the Sharjah International Airport Magazine. He also assisted a UN consultant on a project study in the UAE and represented The Gulf Today to witness a World Cup Soccer Match in Hamburg, Germany.
Say cheese-24/7 is his motto; and being an ardent Socrates fan, one of his favorite quotes is “Man with least needs closest to God.”
Rahel is the Managing Director of Visual Media Tracking System (VMTS) and WaveSat Broadcasting.
She is a media Entrepreneur with wide experience in corporate planning, marketing, event management, business administration and digital training.
As a Partner with Arabian Gazette, Rahel plays the key role in providing strategic directives and exploring new opportunities.
