Dubai, January 31, 2012: His Royal Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum inaugurated Big Boy Toys 2013 – the Middle East’s ultimate entertainment destination and one of the main events of the Dubai Shopping Festival inaugurates its latest edition today at Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai. The most anticipated luxury lifestyle exhibition will be open to the public until 2nd February, 2013. Mr. Ibrahim Saleh and high management representatives of DEPE attended the opening.
His Royal Highness took a tour around the exhibition and reviewed the world’s most élite exhibitors putting on display the best of Adventure, Aviation, Digital, Drive, Fashion, Lifestyle, Marine, Off Road and Super Cars. His Royal Highness met with local exhibitors showcasing their products and discussed their innovative ideas.
Big Boys Toys 2013 organized by Artaaj Events is a 3-day show of superlatives and a platform for spectacular product launches such as the unique super car Soleil Anadi and the stunning Ostoure motorcycle. Another highlight in the car world is the presentation of the Bertone Mantide also known as Project M and the Alfa Romeo Pandion Concept 2010.
Fulfilling its reputation as the Ultimate Playground, the event is hosting the Middle East’s biggest Super Car Test Drive Pit, giving car enthusiasts the exceptional opportunity to get behind the wheel of the most exquisite super cars in the world such as Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Bentley and Ferrari and take them for a spin.
Always going beyond expectations, Big Boys Toys 2013 is not only providing visitors the ultimate adrenaline-rushing experience but also reaches the pinnacle of luxury by displaying the best of what lifestyle has to offer. The RC Zone allows visitors to enter competitions to test the coolest remote controlled cars, trucks and choppers, while the latest gadgets and technologies are featured in the Gaming Arcade, and the Simulator Zone ready for tryout. The Chill Out Zone offers live music and refreshments to unwind after all the thrill. The Battle of Bands features the best of UAEs music scene and lets one of the countries music talents walk away with the title of ‘Big Boys Toys Band of the Year’.
To give visitors the chance to win big, Big Boys Toys 2013 is hosting one of the biggest raffles in town rewarding one lucky buyer of a VIP ticket with an AED 1 million cash prize. Additionally, the most fashionable ladies amongst the crowd get a chance to compete every evening at 8pm on the Big Boys Toys catwalk for the title of ‘BBT Style Icon’, and a cash prize worth AED 50,000. The winners will be announced on the last day of the exhibition.
