Warren Buffet?s lunch auction for a San Francisco charity has drawn its highest offer of $2 million; with four days of bidding remaining. This has put the annual fundraiser ahead of last year?s pace.
The auction which began on Sunday has generated bids from two potential donors on EBAY.
Buffet, the chairman and chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway Inc, has generated more than $ 8 million in the last decade for the San Francisco-based Glide Foundation. This charity organization is learnt to be serving meals to the needy. Buffet?s ?generosity, and that of the winning bidders, has provided meals, health care, job training, rehabilitation and housing support to help lift people out of these hard times,? Reverend Cecil Williams, Glide?s founder, said in a statement.
The winner who gets the bid will get a lunch for eight with Buffet in New York at Smith & Wollensky.
