The growth and development of Dubai for the past two decades has been phenomenal. Everything that was coined with Dubai was gold. Even though it lacked ?black gold?, it made it up by attracting the best talent for all its sectors. Dubai not only created wealth but attracted the most important wealth of all ?intellectual capital.?
Intellectual Capital came not alone, but with family. It fuelled the economy and more intellectual capital was flowing in at a tremendous speed. The injection of large amounts of intellectual capital gave rise to draw-backs.
As with this type of capital comes many illnesses both physical and psychological. Medical facilities catering to different segments of the society was in high demand. However it was also discovered that people living in the Middle East, both locals and expatriates were having problems expanding their families and many couples went abroad for treatments. Thereby fertility clinics became a big hit over night

In many parts of the world there are some financial concessions for expensive fertility procedures.
1. IVF Refund Programs/Money Back Guarantees- a portion or the total amount of IVF treatment would be paid back to the patient if the procedure was not success. This concession is provided by many clinics in Dubai.
2. Low cost IVF- Some clinics specifically offer low-cost treatment plans, such as micro-IVF or in vitro maturation. A program may use lower doses of medications during stimulation to cut down on drug costs and monitoring costs. (Lower doses of medication reduce the chance of ovarian hyperstimulation and thus allow for less monitoring via ultrasounds and blood tests.) Also, egg retrieval can be done without sedation if the woman produces fewer eggs on these lower doses of medication. Other low-cost plans achieve savings by scheduling a large group of patients to undergo their IVF cycles at the same time.
3. IVF Research programs -Participating in an IVF research program can reduce costs
4. Financing options – Unsecured loans are available to cover infertility treatment and pharmaceutical costs
Each clinic boasts about its success and also has patient testimonials in its website. Minimum success rate is at least 10%.
Couples having fertility trouble in the UAE, especially in Dubai are blessed with multitude of excellent services and clinics to choose. The Department of Health supervises these clinics stringently and they have to adhere to stringent rules.
