UAE announced five-day Eid-al-fitr holiday for Public sector and two days for private sector
According to WAM, the official news agency of UAE:
Under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Hussein Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Director-General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, today announced that the official Eid-al-Fitr holidays for Ministries and Federal Authorities will commence on Sunday, 27th of July, which corresponds with the 29th day of Ramadan, 1435 Hijri. Normal federal government business hours will resume on Sunday 3rd of August.
Clubbing the two weekends, public sector staff will get nine consecutive days off.
