The official?international?Airline of UAE, based in Dubai, Emirates Airlines, has introduced mobile boarding passes to its customers. All the?customers now have an option of receiving an e-boarding pass on their internet enabled mobile device, according to the Gulfnews.
Launched in 1985, Emirates Airlines owns one of the youngest fleets in skies and has received numerous awards for its excellence, comfort and superior technology while serving its clientele. The launch of the new mobile boarding pass is a new feather in the cap?for the coveted Carrier.
As per an estimation, this move is expected to save around 550 kilograms of paper in the first year of implementation.
After?the maiden launch in Dubai, over 30 other mobile boarding pass compliant airports?across the Emirates network have been identified for the implementation of the mobile boarding pass.
