Ernst & Young (E&Y) has announced it will be expanding its service lines and industry sectors by taking in 20 new partners across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

This step will bring the organization’s total number of partners in MENA region to a total of 123.

E&Y MENA chairman and CEO Abdulaziz Al-Sowailim, welcomes the new partners saying, ‘We continue to focus on our priority of fostering a unique people culture based on development, diversity and engagement. I am certain that our new partners will bring energy, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas and perspectives to our organization.’

‘It?s thanks to the tireless efforts of all our talented people that we continue to accomplish our goal of maintaining market leadership in the region,’ he noted.

The global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services over 4,200 people united across 20 offices and 15 Arab countries and its MENA practice has been operating in the region since 1923.


The fourth largest public accounting firm in the world has also announced the admission of 548 new partners in its organizations across the globe. There are now new partners in the Americas, 110 in Asia-Pacific, 209 in EMEIA and 23 in Japan

The new appointments reiterate its commitment to developing leaders within itself, and at the same while attracting the best talent from the market place. It provides geographical mobility to people in its 87 country operations in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) regions.

E&Y?s UAE branches are located in Dubai and Abu Dhabi which have 12 and 6 resident partners respectively.? The office in Abu Dhabi dates back to 1966. With its 20 new partners on board, not only will the organization be more available to those who seeks its services, but it will also be able to further improve communications between its branches through MENA and globally.
