The Food and Drink sector had products ranging from pumpkin seeds from far away China to cocoa beans from Brazil, varieties of rice, cheese, tea, oils chocolates, energy drinks, processed fruits and “freshly” frozen foods on display. An innovative drink that caught our eye was the Dubai Cola. A cola with a date flavoured twist to it and the name ‘Dubai’ added for the touch of glamour was on display at one of the stalls in the beverage section.
Suppliers of the latest in kitchen equipment, refrigertaion, ovens, needed for professional preparation of food showcased their products while illustrating how easy, fast, cheap and of course tasty it was to cook up a meal in a matter of few minutes while a wide eyed group of visitors sampled the food.
