Following a recent hacking spree across several top companies; hackers have now disclosed a bug in the software from Apple Inc. Security experts opinions that this could be exploited by criminals who are looking to gain control over the iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices. This came to light when the flaw was released in a website; the released code would let the Apple customers modify the iOS operating system through a process known as ?jail breaking?.
It has been found that several Apple customers are choosing jail break to download and run applications that are not approved by Apple or use iPhone phones by the networks of carriers that are not approved by Apple. It is learnt that any criminal hacker can download this code, reverse engineer it to identify the hole in iOS security and build a piece if malicious software within ?few days.
However, Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller has said that the company isn?t aware of any such problem.
