Infographic revels 60% of all official merchandise sales in the region are for Team India
Souq.com, the official online E-tailer for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in the Middle East, has released an infographic revealing ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 merchandise sales on its platform.
Current sales show that 60% of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 merchandise sales on the platform are related to Team India, highlighting that fan support is at fever pitch with India tipped to replicate their World Cup win from 2011. Pakistan follows with 15% and Sri Lanka with 10% of the sales.
The U.A.E National team has qualified for the World Cup for the 1st time since 1996 and has managed to also gather a fan base, capturing a healthy 5% of the sales so far, while the remaining teams capture 10% of the merchandise sales.
