Jeddah Cityscape 2011 – Emaar Showcases Lifestyle Projects

Saudi Arabia is witnessing a spurt in property demands as the Kingdom has recovered from the recent unrest in the region. Emaar Middle East, a subsidiary of Emaar Properties, complements the region with its value-added lifestyle projects at Cityscape Jeddah.

In the premier property exhibition held at Jeddah Centre, Emaar Middle East will showcase two of its projects Jeddah Gate and Al Khobar Lakes along with its unique project Emaar Residences at the Fairmont Makkah.

According to Eng. Ahmad Al Kulli, General Manager, Saudi in particular has been promoting quality housing infrastructure. Jeddah Gate and Al Khobar Lakes are two integrated projects that are featuring homes, offices, retail, leisure and hospitality components. This will in return create hundreds of fresh jobs for Saudi nationals, while promoting the growth of ancillary industries. Both the projects are progressing as per schedule and at a swift pace. The first homes will be handed over shortly, underscoring the commitment of project delivery on time.

Emaar Middle East has established itself in the Kingdom with considerable progress on its projects. All the three key projects have received good response. Jeddah Gate is a project which is spread over about half a million square meter in Jeddah’s new downtown. The SR2.9 billion project will be the centre point for the city’s new downtown. Jeddah Gate is close to the main railroad that links the two Holy Cities of Makkah and Madina to Jeddah. When completed, Jeddah Gate will have over 100,000 sq m of spacious office spaces and over 30,000 sq m of retail space. There are also two educational complexes, mosques, outdoor plazas, gardens, interactive waterscapes and an array of other facilities.

Al Khobar Lakes is a luxury lakefront development extending to 4.3 million sq m features more than 2,000 private villas with retail and leisure amenities. Al Khobar Lakes is one of the first lakefront developments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
