Dubai, UAE, 12 March 2012: Shah Rukh Khan. Abhishekh Bachchan. Preity Zinta. Tabu. What do these Bollywood legends and more have in common? They’re all coming to FOX this March for Mahrajan Bollywood Month! A four-week fiesta of the finest films to come out of India, catch the hottest Bollywood stars and the most exciting movies until March 28, every Saturday  to Wednesday at 11pm KSA/midnight UAE.

Dedicated to Bollywood fans, FOX premiers an Arabic-dubbed movie every Friday night (9pm KSA/10pm UAE) – but March is a Bollywood lover’s dream come true! Four themed weeks and 20 films that allow you to Live the romance, the drama, the action and the thrills of India’s movie capital.

Week One: Shah Rukh Khan (March 3 – 7)
What better way to start off Mahrajan Bollywood month than with the legend himself, Shah Rukh Khan? Watch Khan star as Bollywood actor Sahir Khan in ‘Billu’ on March 3, whose appearance in Budbuda turns the life of barber Billu Vilas Pardesi (Irrfan Khan) around overnight. On March 4, watch the ultimate love story: ‘Veer Zaara’. Starring SRK as Veer Pratap Singh, an Indian who falls in love with Pakistani Zaara Hayaat Khan (Preity Zinta), this is an epic romance, where love knows no bounds… In a tale of love and separation, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, on March 5, SRK plays a young, British-born man who falls in love with a girl, whose father sends her back to India to fulfil a betrothal promise. Taking on the role of Rahul in Yash Chopra’s ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’, airing on March 6, SRK plays one of four lovers who have their dreams realised. Wrapping up Shah Rukh Khan week on March 7 is ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, starring SRK as a middle-aged man who rediscovers his love for his wife and life after he takes on a new identity. It’s the ultimate dedication to Bollywood’s biggest legend – you know you can’t afford to miss this.

Week Two: Romance (March 10-14)
Be prepared to swoon, sob and sing your way through a week of absolute romance, starting with the tragic love story ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, starring Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor, on March 10. ‘Housefull’, on March 11, stars Akshay Kumar as a young man down on his look who, in his attempts to find true love, ends up in complicated relationships. Airing on March 12 is ‘Cheeni Kum’, which stars Amitabh Bachchan as 64-year old bachelor chef, who falls for a woman 30 years younger than him, played by Tabu. ‘Jhoom Barabar Jhoom’, airing the following night and starring Abhishekh Bachchan and Preity Zinta, is the story of a man and woman, engaged to different people, who accidentally fall for each other after chatting for a few hours. Last but by no means least, Bollywood romance week ends on March 14 with ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, featuring Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma as wedding planners who become bitter rivals. No-one does romance better than Bollywood!

Week Three: Action/Thriller (March 17-21)
Get ready for non-stop high-impact action and nail-biting thrills this week, featuring edge-of-your seat stunts and non-stop thrills and spills. ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’ sets the tone on March 17; Farhan Akhtar stars as a loner who suddenly makes it big when he starts getting mysterious phonecalls… Abhishek Bachchan plays a young man who is called to duty after discovering he is the last in an ancient line of ancestral warriors in ‘Drona’, airing on March 18. Following this on March 19 is ‘Pinjar’, in which a young Hindu woman (Urila Matondkar) is kidnapped by a Muslim man and finds herself forced to live a new life in newly-formed Pakistan. ‘Fanaa’, on March 20, is the story of a young blind woman (Kajol) who falls in love with a man harbouring a terrible secret, played by Aamir Khan. Airing on March 21 is ‘Badmaash Company’, in which four friends (starring Anushka Sharma and Shahid Kapoor) set up a company in the 90s-era Mumbai, which turns out to be a massive success despite their unusual business methods.

Week Four : Drama (March 24-28)
At the end of a thrilling tour of Bollywood’s best, the month ends with Drama week. ‘Tere Naam’ leads the way on March 24 starring Salman Khan as Radhey Mohan, who causes all sorts of trouble when he falls in love with Nirjara (Bhoomika Chawla). ‘Lajja’ follows on March 25, in which a young wife (Manisha Koirala) tries to run away from her unhappy marriage, only to find that she’s pregnant. Tabu and Sushmita Sen star as inseparable friends in ‘Filhaal…’ on March 26, though the friendship is jeopardized when a surrogate pregnancy turns sour. The troubled relationship between Mahatma Gandhi (Darshan Jariwala) and his son, Harilal Ghandi (Akshaye Khanna), is explored on March 27, though ‘Ghandi, My Father’. The final stop in Bollywood month is ‘Laaga Chunari Mein Daag: Journey of a Woman’, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji in the story of a woman who, in order to support her family, sacrifices her own happiness and reputation by taking up work as a call girl.
