Are MENA Professionals Happy with Their Work/Life Balance?

New Bayt.com Infographic reveals interesting statistics on MENA employees.

Bayt.com’s Work-Life balance of employees in the Middle East and North Africa depicts the following facts:

– 56.7% of employees currently have a good work-life balance

– A majority of employees would spend free time with their family

– Poor Pay tops list of employee stress (followed by poor management and poor work environment)

– Employees long for more productivity at work for achieving better work life balance

– A whopping 83% of the employees work outside of office hours (35.4% work outside office hours very often, by choice)

– A majority of the employees (53.3%) believes they spend enough time with family and friends

– A majority of the employees (57%) believes they spend enough time on sports and exercises

– 64.8% of employees believe they spend enough time on learning pursuits

– A majority of employees (64%) willing to take a pay cut to achieve extra free time on your job

– Most appealing factor at work for majority of employees (40.9%): same hours but more pay

– What affected most employees in their current work-life balance: Mental health and happiness (26.9%)

– 49.1% of employees enjoy their job on most days

– A massive 88.3% responded that they would consider changing their job for a better work-life balance

– 89.3% of employees believe work-life balance is attainable
