There are time-lapse videos and then there are time-lapse videos. A new stunning Dubai time-lapse video has raised the bar all the way and a bit further.
So much so that it might make you go breathless! Hence, viewer discretion is advised 😉
UK based time-lapse photographer Rob Whitworth has taken the idea of hyperlapses to the next level with his latest video, “Dubai Flow Motion”.
The visual creativity and brilliant sound design of this video will keep your eyes glued to the video from start to finish. In fact, the sound design compliments the images in perfect harmony.
Awards and achievements are not new to Rob. In the past, he’s received awards including:
-Winner of Gold Award at Timelapse Showfest 2015 Spain
-Winner of Best Experimental Film at Tiburon International Film Festival 2014 USA
-Winner of Jury’s Choice Award at the 5th Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Fest 2012 Malaysia
-Winner of Best Experimental Film at Tiburon International Film Festival 2012 USA
But this new Dubai time-lapse video is one hugely creative and mind blowing piece of visual chemistry!
And just like any other outsider who has never been to Dubai, Rob’s impression of the bustling city changed with the completion of the video project.
My first impression of Dubai was that of super-tall buildings jutting out of the desert sand. However, after 3 months of exploration, research and filming, my lasting impression is of the eternal wonder of the desert and the importance it holds for the Emirati people.
Dubai may be home to the world’s most outrageous skyline but Dubai’s desert dunes and historical creek are where you’ll find its soul.
The incredible video was made in partnership with Dubai Film.
