Regional demand for security and safety services is growing rapidly, and the world’s leading security technology companies are keeping pace to meet the new demand levels in an ever-changing threat landscape, according to the Middle East’s largest multi-solution security provider, G4S.
G4S expects the total regional security market to be worth more than USD 7 billion in 2015, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10% across Egypt and the Gulf states.

G4S Technology, the technology arm of G4S based in the UK, will be showcasing its newly launched Symmetry V8 Access Control software, the newly updated Symmetry video management system, and the significant EN-2DBC Door Controller, which takes installation of access control up to a new level of efficiency. This solution will provide customers a single platform solution encompassing access control, video management and alarm management.
G4S will also be launching its supervisory management tool for the first time in the Middle East. The solution empowers every security offer with exclusive mobile technology that enhances performance, offers instant incident management information, improves compliance, reduces risk and provides transparent operational accountability.
Ultimate UAV, based in the UAE, will showcase the Storm X8 advanced drone platform, as well as launch its next generation heavy lift drone. Storm X8 drones are unique vertical take-off and landing drone solutions that can be deployed across a wide number of critical national infrastructure, military, oil and gas, public safety, security, and search and rescue applications. As a solutions provider, G4S integrates Storm X8 drone solutions with third party video management platforms to provide customers located in complex threat environments with enhanced situational awareness where on-site surveillance is a critical component of their success.
Innovative Signal Analysis, based in the US, will be joining G4S at Intersec 2015 to launch and showcase the innovative WAVcam platform for the first time in the Middle East. WAVcam is a wide-area domain awareness video solution that can cover over 100 square miles with a single, 90 degree view, 80 megapixel camera. This solution is ideal for: airports, border monitoring, military installations, oil and gas, seaports, and other critical national infrastructure applications.
