In a press statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Saad Bin Nahar Al-Badah, Chairman of the Saudi based National Committee for Recruitment, confirmed the merger of 55 smaller recruitment companies into the Saudi Company for Recruitment based in Riyadh. The assimilation of these companies would generate a net capital of SAR 200 million. The decision was taken this week at a meeting of the company’s founders at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Instituted to mainly recruit housemaids, male servants and drivers from foreign countries, the Saudi Company for Recruitment will be headquartered in Riyadh and will subsequently open 26 branches across the Kingdom with each region housing two branches. It is one of the largest recruitment companies in the Kingdom.
According to the terms stipulated by the company, it would take full accountability for these workers and will reimburse clients and replace workers without any extra charge, should their employees leave or decide to not work for them any longer.
Additionally, clients could be given the freedom to determine the employment period for migrant workers.
