Indian superstar actor Rajinikanth along with co-stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson joined music composer A.R.Rahman, producer Allirajah Subaskaran and director S. Shankar at the Burj Al Arab for a press conference ahead of the audio launch of 2.0, India’s biggest-budget film to date.
In true Bollywood style, the actors arrived in a helicopter and made their way to the venue, offering the audience a glimpse of the exhilarating movie-making experience. Shot entirely in 3D with a production cost of US$90 million and Hollywood stalwarts such as costume designer Mary E. Vogt and stunt coordinator Kenny Bates associated with it, 2.0 promises to herald a new age in Indian cinema.
