The Merchant House, Bahrain is adding glamour to Bahrain for its first festive season celebrations since its opening in January this year. The all-suite boutique hotel is curating special festive menus guaranteed to put guests in the holiday spirit throughout the season.

Guests are invited to start the festive celebrations early this year on 6 December for a Friday Brunch at Indigo Restaurant where there will be a live performance by Mo Zowayed from 1pm to 1.45pm and 2pm to 2.45pm. The Bahraini Indie folk singer and songwriter and his band have toured the USA, sponsored by Red Bull and have opened for major headliners including The Tedeschi Trucks Band. In early 2017, Mo was one of the headline acts at Bahrain’s pre-eminent musical event, The Spring of Culture, sharing the stage with artists such as Tom Jones and UB40. Guests at the Merchant House will have a fantastic start to the festive celebrations early in December and are sure to be blown away by the performance.

On 24 December, The Merchant House is offering a sumptuous four course set dinner with a glass of sparkling beverage. The Chef and his team will be laying out a delectable selection of dishes to delight every palate. Some of the mouth-watering dishes that will be served including Roast Chicken, Risotto Funghi, Prawn Saganaki and delicious Mince Pies with Vanilla Ice Cream and Homemade assorted Chocolate Truffles for those with a sweet tooth or freshly brewed homemade Cinnamon Tea. The dinner will kick off at 6pm until late at BHD 35 Nett per person, with 10% discount for reservations before 15th December 2019.

On New Year’s Eve, the boutique luxury hotel is offering a lavish five course set dinner to end the year in style. The set dinner menu will include Wafu Salad with Prawns, Beef Rib Samjang, to Salmon Pesto and Double Chocolate Dome or Kaffir lime fragranced panna cotta with fresh mango sauce for dessert and Mince Pies with Vanilla Ice Cream or Homemade assorted Chocolate Truffles along with homemade festive Cinnamon Tea.

Guests will enjoy a sophisticated evening accompanied with live music from 11pm onwards. Sandi Thom, the Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, widely known after her debut single, “I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker”, topped the UK Singles Chart in June of 2006, will be the main performer of the evening.

The evening will cost BHD 47 Nett per person and will start at 6pm until late evening so that guests can comfortably savour their delicious dinner while creating beautiful memories during the last evening of this year.

For those who wish to treat themselves to a relaxed and quiet holiday during the festive season, it is possible to book one of the 46 luxurious suites at The Merchant House Bahrain, dine at the Indigo Rooftop Restaurant or indulge in the Afternoon T at The Library.
