2. Panasonic Eluga
Panasonic, in an attempt to revive its ‘past glory,’ has launched Eluga, an Android-based phone.
The super slim phone of just 7.8mm thickness feels light for its size with a weight of 103g. The screen size is 4.3″ – same like Sony’s Xperia.
The weight reduction can have an impact on its battery life. Panasonic promises the battery will last the day with its smart energy management software. However, the phone’s 8GB memory could be a turn off for many people.
Panasonic’s engineering excellence has its mark on the phone, with it being both dust and waterproof (up to a depth of 1 metre).
The success of Panasonic’s Eluga phone will depend on its marketing power, competitive pricing and convincing the buyers that they can expect a quality phone from this consumer electronic brand.
